Happy New Year.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our valued customers for your continued patronage last year. In last year's New Year's message, I wrote about questioning the meaning of human existence. Reflecting on whether our company—or rather, I myself—has a purpose and provides value to our customers, I sense a transformation. I feel we receive fewer technical inquiries from customers, and it's clear that advances in AI are behind this shift. While we provide technical consulting, much of it is now being replaced by AI, ushering in an era where AI generates sufficient practical value. This past year, I worked diligently while constantly asking myself: what can only humans do? I still don't have a clear answer within myself, but to bring joy to our current customers and to modestly bring happiness to new ones, I proceed without hesitation, trial and error included, tackling each task before me.
Last year, our company released an app for smartphones for the first time in 11 years. We are deeply gratified that so many people are using it and that we've received numerous positive reviews from users. We've also received frequent praise for our rapid development speed. We take pride in this as a unique strength of our company: the nimble agility possible precisely because we are a small organization, combined with the seamless integration of the entire process from specification development to design, implementation, testing, and operation enabled by the fact that all our developers are also users. We will continue to focus our efforts on smartphone apps, aiming for new developments.
This year, we will continue to provide consulting, planning, development, sales, operation, maintenance, monitoring services, and operational verification services for computer systems and related systems; consulting, planning, development, sales, and import/export of computer software, consulting, planning, development, sales, and import/export of computer hardware and peripherals, planning, production, and sales of magazines, books, and other printed materials, and all ancillary operations. We are committed to building the future with creativity, growing with trust. We sincerely appreciate your continued patronage this year.
